This is your chance to help Huddersfield Town name the brand-new show pitch at PPG Canalside!
The new pitch was the first stage of the re-development at the Club’s Training Ground. Since that was put in place, the work has continued to bring the facility up to the highest standards.
Like the pitch at the John Smith’s Stadium, the new show pitch has a hybrid Desso GrassMaster surface, complete with undersoil heating.
Since the beginning of the 2019/20 Sky Bet Championship season, Town’s First Team have been training on the pitch and it will also be used for Elite Development Team matches.
Ahead of those games, Huddersfield Town would like to name the new pitch - and that’s where you come in!
We would like the name to honour one of our former players or managers, so here’s list that’s been carefully put together:
Andy Booth, George ‘Bomber’ Brown, Mally Brown, Jimmy Glazzard, Peter Jackson, Steve Kindon, Denis Law, Mark Lillis, Vic Metcalfe, Jimmy Nicholson, Billy Smith, Clem Stephenson, Marcus Stewart, Ray Wilson, Frank Worthington.
