WATCH A TOWN YOUNGSTER ON NON-LEAGUE DAY!

Town supports the annual push for Non-League football

With no Huddersfield Town First Team game this weekend, why not watch one of the Club’s Young Terriers in action on Non-League Day 2019?

This Saturday marks the 10th instalment of Non-League Day. The day is a celebration of all that is special about non-league Football with the day highlighting the key role that volunteers play in the game and also showcases the fantastic supporters in the non-league System.

The Huddersfield Town Academy believe that non-league football can offer their promising young footballers a first experience of the senior men’s game and currently has nine players out at different clubs, either on loan or work experience.

With the Terriers not in action this weekend, why not watch one of them in non-league action live?

Here’s a full list of where the Young Terriers could be in action on Saturday 12 October 2019.

Romoney Crichlow-Noble

Stockport County vs Hartlepool United

The left-sided defender has featured twice for the Pools since joining on a season-long loan. Hartlepool United currently sit 15th in the Vanarama National League table with 20 points from 15 games.

Ben Jackson

Stockport County vs Hartlepool United

Defender Ben Jackson has been a key figure in the Hatters backline this season having featured 12 times this season scoring once. Stockport born Jackson could also potentially face fellow youth academy product Romoney Crichlow-Noble.

Olly Dyson

Forward Olly Dyson has played a key role in Barrow’s strong start to the season with the striker featuring 14 times scoring twice. Barrow currently sit fourth in the National League.

Midfielder Dom Tear has been performing well for Gateshead’s strong start to the season with Dom appearing in seven games, scoring once and assisting twice.

Midfield Isaac Marriott has featured 13 times for the Avenue this season, whilst young defender Headley has featured five times for BPA this season.

Luke Mewitt and Oran Thompson

Both Mewitt and Thompson have been key influences in Hyde United’s impressive start to the season with Goalkeeper Mewitt featuring in every league game for Hyde. Hyde’s game on Saturday should also be an intriguing clash with both sides having a strong start to the season.

Andrew Ijiwole

Dunston UTS vs Ossett United

17-year-old Ijiwole features in the FA Trophy this weekend after making a strong start whilst on work experience with Ossett United.
