Over 3,500 people were amazed by Huddersfield Town’s spectacular fireworks display on Sunday 27 October 2019.

The event that took place at the St. Andrew’s Road Car Park at the John Smith’s Stadium was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended as the fireworks lit the HD1 skies.

Standard Fireworks supported the evening, which started at 4.30pm with some excellent entertainment!

Pulse 1 and Pulse 2 provided live entertainment throughout the night, interacting with supporters, introducing singers on to the stage and interviewing First Team players Lewis O’Brien and Fraizer Campbell.

As well as being on stage, Lewis and Fraizer also met supporters and had selfies before starting the incredible fireworks display. Terry the Terrier was also on hand to meet young fans.

Whilst that was going on, local people and families made the most out of the vast amount of fun fair rides and attractions. A number of supporters won prizes and enjoyed the thrill of the rides.

There’s was also an array of food and drink available for the thousands of people that attended! They had the choice of burgers, pizza, Yorkshire pudding wraps and much more. Alongside that there were drinks available from Club Partner Magic Rock, Holmfirth based Road Bloc and the popular bar Revolucion de Cuba!

Competition winner 11-year-old Daisy Bramley started the fireworks display with Lewis and Fraizer at 7.45pm, which finished 10 minutes later with a superb ending!

It wasn’t just the Town duo on stage who attended the Fireworks Spectacular! Christopher Schindler and Ryan Schofield also brought their families along to the Club event.

Huddersfield Town’s Advertising and Events Executive, Tom Warburton said:

“It was great to see the Football Club and the community come together for our Fireworks Spectacular.

“I really enjoyed this year’s event and, from what I could see, everyone seemed to have a great time and really enjoyed themselves.

“It was fantastic to hold the Fireworks at the St. Andrew’s Road Car Park too! The display looked great over the John Smith’s Stadium and it allowed everyone to come together in one big area.

“The Fireworks display itself was fantastic, once again. So for that, I would like to say thank you to Standard Fireworks.

“I’d like to leave my final thanks for Lewis O’Brien, Fraizer Campbell and the players who came off their own backs. It means a lot to the supporters to see them in a non-football setting and their willingness to get involved shows how special this club is.

“I think it’s safe to say that this year’s event was another huge success!”
