Further senior experience for defender Rarmani
- Huddersfield Town’s Rarmani Edmonds-Green heads out on loan
- Central defender joining Vanarama National League side Bromley FC
- Comments from Manager Danny Cowley
Huddersfield Town defender Rarmani Edmonds-Green has today completed a loan move to Vanarama National League side Bromley FC.
Rarmani, 20, will join the Ravens until 13 January 2020 inclusive to gain further experience of First Team football.
Born in London, ‘Rams’ joined Town’s Academy on his 17th birthday from the Nike Academy following a successful trial period.
He has progressed through the age groups with the Terriers before excelling in his first loan spell, playing 15 games for Brighouse Town in the Evo-Stik League in the second half of last season.
Edmonds-Green was given a position in the First Team squad upon his return this summer and went on to make his senior Town debut in August, playing the full 90 minutes of the Carabao Cup game against Lincoln City.
He subsequently put pen-to-paper on a new contract at the Club last month, committing his future to Town until the summer of 2022.
Rarmani joins fifth-tier Bromley in a great moment, with the Londoners currently sitting second in the division. They’re level on points with top-placed FC Halifax Town, who they host at their Westminster Waste Stadium on Saturday.
Huddersfield Town Manager Danny Cowley commented:
“Rarmani is a great kid and has made huge strides in his development as a footballer recently. He’s physically good and that allows him to be an aggressive, front-foot defender.
“We know Bromley really well as a Club, in particular the Chairman and the Manager, Neil Smith. We know that Rarmani will be properly looked after there, which is important to us.
“This loan move will be a really good stepping-stone for ‘Rams’ as he develops into the footballer that we believe he can be.”
