Right-back Danny Simpson believed Huddersfield Town fully-deserved a point after an action-packed game at Ewood Park.
The Terriers responded well from going behind in a game that was end-to-end in front of the TV cameras.
When speaking after the game, Danny Simpson explained how the half-time team talk helped the players come out stronger.
“They’re a good team to be honest and play some good stuff. We started well, I thought for the first 20-25 minutes we were the better team.
“Then we gave the goal away and I thought from then on, the next 10 minutes was important, and we let it get to us a little bit, then they scored a second and that was the feeling in the team at the time.
“We got to half-time and said let’s just regroup. We looked at the positives and went out there and gave it a go. I thought second half we did that and deserved a point.”
That result means Town are now four games unbeaten in the Sky Bet Championship – a good platform going into back-to-back home games.
“The fact now it’s four unbeaten, we all want to win games, but it’s being tough to beat. If you can start a base of being tough to beat, you can move on from there.
“The manager will implement what he wants, and you can keep a run going, a bit of momentum.
“We’ve got two home games coming up now, so it’s a big week.”
