Junior supporters and their families sitting in the Club’s designated family area; the Fantastic Media Upper Tier will notice the area has had something of a blue and white facelift!
The walls and stairwells of the HTAFC ‘Family Zone’ have been updated with a host of Town songs and chants including ‘Smile A While’ and ‘Ooh To Be A Terrier’, so the next generation of junior fans can join in with the lyrics during the match!
Images of players such as Jonathan Hogg, Karlan Grant, Christopher Schindler and Elias Kachunga now adorn the concourse walls, as well as some iconic team celebration images.
Young Terriers could end up taking on one of Town’s stars at FIFA 20 on the new PlayStation 4 consoles at the updated ‘Game Zone’ area pre match, which is located through the double doors of the FM Upper concourse area. At a recent match Town players Reece Brown, Herbert Bockhorn and Josh Koroma took on junior supporters on our new table football in front of the Game Zone.
Huddersfield Town Supporter Services Manager, Robyn Kennerdale, commented:
“We are incredibly proud of Huddersfield Town’s reputation as a family club.
“We are continually looking to make improvements around the John Smith’s Stadium, and we wanted to inject some Huddersfield Town into our Family Stand.
“We hope our junior supporters and their families like the designs and the new activities!”
Watch out for our Here to Help staff handing out stickers featuring Town players along with Terry and Tilly before home matches in the family area! There’s also free face painting on offer!
