TERRIERS TO FEATURE OVER INTERNATIONAL PERIOD

Eight Terriers called-up by their national sides

A total of eight Huddersfield Town players across First Team and Academy levels have been called-up to represent their national sides during the upcoming November international break.
 
Off the back of another string of impressive performances in the Town goal, Kamil Grabara (above) has been called-up by the Poland Under-21s for their international later this month.
 
They'll be looking to consolidate their place at the top of their UEFA Euro Under-21 qualifiying group with victory in Bulgaria on Friday 15 November 2019; 4pm kick-off.

Defender Florent Hadergjonaj and the Kosovo national team will be attempting to qualify for next summer’s UEFA European Championships, later this month.
 
The Dardanët are currently one point off 2nd place Czech Republic in Group A, who they travel to on Thursday 14 November 2019 (7.45pm kick-off) before their final game of the campaign at home to England on the following Sunday (17 November; 5pm kick-off).
 
Only the top two sides in the group will automatically book their place at the tournament which kicks off in June 2020.

Grabara’s teammate Trevoh Chalobah may also be in UEFA Euro Under-21s qualifying action later this month after he was recalled to Aidy Boothroyd’s England U-21s squad.
 
The Young Lions will be looking to maintain their 100% record in Group C when they make the trip to Albania for a 6pm kick-off on Friday 15 November 2019.

Juninho Bacuna’s continued recent form has seen him named in the Curaçao senior side for the third time this season, ahead of their CONCACAF Nations League game against Costa Rica on Thursday 14 November; 11.30pm kick-off.
 
The two sides met during last month’s international break in which they played out a goal-less draw at Costa Rica’s Estadio Alejandro Morera Soto home.

Benin have also named Steve Mounié in their squad for their opening two 2021 African Cup of Nations qualifiers against Nigeria and Sierra Leone on Wednesday 13 November 2019 (4pm KO) and Sunday 17 November 2019 (1pm KO).

Town scholar Ernaldo Krasniqi has also joined up with the Albania Under-17s squad for their upcoming 2020 UEFA European Under-17 Championship qualifiers.
 
Albania play Portugal, Ukraine and Georgia before 20 November 2019 as they attempt to try and progress to the Elite stage.
 
Elsewhere, Aaron Mooy, currently on loan at Brighton & Hove Albion has been selected in Australia’s squad for their FIFA World Cup qualifier in Jordan on Thursday 11 November 2019; 4pm kick-off.
 
Ramadan Sobhi, on loan at Egyptian Club Al-Ahly, has also been named in the Egypt Under-23s squad for their three African U-23 Cup of Nations qualifiers against Mali, Ghana and Cameroon which will all take place between 8-14 November 2019.
