Danny Cowley makes three changes to the starting XI

- Huddersfield Town side named to face Preston North End
- Terence Kongolo returns to the starting XI after injury absence
- Trevoh Chalobah & Adama Diakhaby also start at Deepdale

Manager Danny Cowley has made three changes to Huddersfield Town’s starting line-up for today’s Sky Bet Championship game against Preston North End; 3pm kick-off at Deepdale.

Terence Kongolo starts for the Terriers today, ending a seven-game absence due to a calf injury sustained at West Bromwich Albion on 22 September. His return is a timely one, with Jaden Brown ruled out due to the ankle injury he suffered in last weekend’s win at Brentford.

The second change is also enforced, with the suspended Jonathan Hogg replaced by Chelsea loanee Trevoh Chalobah.

Adama Diakhaby also returns to the starting team this afternoon. He replaces Fraizer Campbell, who misses out today through the hamstring issue he picked up at Griffin Park a week ago.

As a result of the above, Josh Koroma – who turns 21 today – and Steve Mounié come into the match day 18 as substitutes; the latter having recovered from the toe problem that kept him out of the last game. They join 17-year-old striker Kian Harratt, who is with the First Team as a substitute for the second successive weekend.

Lewis O’Brien makes the 50th league start of his career today.
