ROUND UP: GRABARA CAPTAINS POLAND U21S

Town players feature for their respective nations during this international break

- Kamil Grabara captains Poland’s Under-21s
- Juninho Bacuna plays another full 90 minutes for Caraçao
- Games still to be played over the weekend
 
A total of eight Huddersfield Town players across Academy and First Team levels represented their national teams over the November international break.
 
Goalkeeper Kamil Grabara earnt his 21st cap for Poland’s Under-21s, and captained them, as they played Bulgaria in the UEFA European Under 21 Qualification earlier today. They lost 3-0, meaning they qualify into the U21 Euros second in their group.

Florent Hadergjonaj played 77 minutes for Kosovo in their defeat to Czech Republic. The result means that they will finish third in Group A.
 
Kosovo play against England on Sunday to round up the Qualification Group stage and November’s international break.

Striker Steve Mounié played the full 90 minutes for Benin as they played Nigeria in the Africa Cup of Nations Qualifiers. He was unable to get himself onto the scoresheet as Benin lost 2-1.
 
Benin’s next game against Sierra Leone on Sunday.

Midfielder Juninho Bacuna played 90 minutes for Caraçao as they lost 2-1 against Costa Rica in the CONCACAF Nations League. The result means Caraçao now sit second in Group D of League A based on goal difference.

Loanee Trevoh Chalobah was recalled to Aidy Boothroyd’s England U-21s squad. He didn’t get a place on the starting line-up in their UEFA Euro Under-21s qualifying action.
 
The Young Lions maintained their 100% record and currently sit top of the table in Group C.
 
Town scholar Ernaldo Krasniqi was called up to the Albania Under-17s squad for their upcoming 2020 UEFA European Under-17 Championship qualifiers. He wasn’t a part of the team line-up for their game against Portugal Under-17s on Wednesday, which they lost 4-0.
 
Albania play Ukraine tomorrow and Georgia on Tuesday 19th November.
 
Aaron Mooy, currently on loan at Brighton & Hove Albion, was selected in Australia’s squad for their FIFA World Cup qualifier against Jordan which took place yesterday. He completed the full 90 minutes of the game and the Socceroos got the win in this Second Round match.
 
Ramadan Sobhi started for Egypt’s Under-23s in their 2-1 win over Cameroon. They currently sit top of Group A in the Africa U-23 Cup of Nations.
