LOANS: HIGH & ELLIOTT JOIN CONCORD RANGERS

8 November 2019

Promising pair to gain First Team experience

- Huddersfield Town Academy duo leave on loan
- Scott High & Kit Elliott join Concord Rangers until 6 January 2020
- Comments from Academy Manager Leigh Bromby

Huddersfield Town Academy players Scott High and Kit Elliott have today completed loan moves to Concord Rangers.

Central midfielder High and striker Elliott – both 18 – will join up with Danny and Nicky Cowley’s former team until 6 January 2020 inclusive.

This will be a first loan spell in senior football for Scott, who captains the Huddersfield Town Under-19 side and has been the heartbeat of Town’s Academy sides since joining the Club as an eight-year-old.

Elliott has already enjoyed a spell in senior football, playing seven games for Darlington in the second half of last season.

Concord play in the sixth tier of the English football pyramid, the MANarama National League South; they sit 11th in the table with 20 points from 16 games. They’re managed by Danny Scopes, who re-joined the Club in the summer; he was joint Manager with Danny Cowley when he started his managerial career there!

Huddersfield Town Academy Manager Leigh Bromby explained:

“This is a really exciting loan spell for Scott and Kit, who are at the stage in their development where exposure to senior football is really important.

“Obviously Concord Rangers is a Club that the Manager has very strong links with and the level of football will be a great challenge for both players. We’ll monitor both Scott and Kit very closely over the next two months in this important stage in their progress as footballers.”
