Town’s Women take part in Women’s Football Weekend

- You can show your support to Town’s Women’s Team
- Tickets can be purchased on the gate
- Home games take place at the Stafflex Arena
 
You can show your support for Huddersfield Town’s Women this Sunday as they take on Sheffield FC in the FA Women’s National League!
 
Town’s Women will take on Sheffield FC on Sunday 17 November 2019 (2pm kick-off) at the Stafflex Arena, HD8 0WA.
 
This weekend is recognised as Women’s Football Weekend, a weekend aimed at increasing attendances across the female game while the international break is on, and Huddersfield Town would like to encourage all fans to come along and show their support!
 
Ash Vickers’ side currently sit fifth in the FA National League Northern Premier Division, six places ahead of their competition.
 
Huddersfield Town supporters can attend the game, with all tickets being purchased on the gate.
 
£5 – Adults
£3 – Concessions – Over-60s and Students (with valid ID)
Free – Under-16s
 
Town’s Women last played Sheffield FC on Sunday 13th October, when they ran out comfortable winners with a 7-2 victory.

Women's Manager, Ashley Vickers, commented on the excitement within the squad ahead of Sunday’s game.
 
“It's been a while since our last competitive fixture and all the players and staff are raring to get a run of games going.
 
“We have a massive few weeks for the club with the league game on Sunday and then 2 tough cup fixtures.
 
“It's all about getting some consistency with our performances, we need to keep our standards as high as possible.
 
“We need to make sure we keep pushing each other in training and matches to be the best we can be and that's got to be done every time we get together.
 
“It would be great to see more Town fans down this weekend, we are one club and we wear the badge with pride.”
