DR JOHN IGA NAMED ON THE FOOTBALL BLACK LIST

Town’s Head of Performance Services recognised in annual award

- Dr John Iga joined Huddersfield in 2016
- Football Black List highlights black industry professionals
- List includes names such as Raheem Sterling and Sadio Mane
 
Huddersfield Town’s Dr John Iga has been named on the 2019 Football Black List for his efforts working with the Club.
 
The Football Black List was founded in 2008 and highlights positive influencers from the black community in the sport.
 
Dr John Iga joined Town in 2016 as Head of Performances Services and Huddersfield Town are incredibly proud that his hard work has been recognised.
 
Iga, who has a PhD in Exercise Physiology, was named under the Practitioners category, alongside the EFL’s Akil Howson, the Premier League’s David Rainford, Stonewall FC’s Jehmeil Lemonius and Brentford FC’s Lorna Falconer.
 
The nominees in the seven categories were decided by a vote by representatives of the Premier League, Professional Footballers' Association, League Managers' Association, EFL and Kick It Out.
