Huddersfield Town Manager Danny Cowley and midfielder Juninho Bacuna are on the four-man shortlists for the Sky Bet Championship October 2019 Manager and Player of the Month awards!
Town’s Manager is up against Birmingham City’s Pep Clotet, Brentford’s Thomas Frank and Hull City’s Grant McCann for the monthly accolade after guiding the Terriers to 15 points and seven unbeaten games since his arrival in September.
Meanwhile, Curaçao international Bacuna – who scored goals in three consecutive games after being substituted on – is competing with Sheffield Wednesday’s Julian Borner, Millwall’s Tom Bradshaw, and Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrovic for the players’ award.
Both winners will be announced at 6am on Friday 8 November 2019.
The judging panel comprises comprises former Barnsley manager Danny Wilson (MoM only), Sky Sports’ EFL expert Don Goodman; EFL Communications Director Mark Rowan, and Sky Bet EFL trader Ivor Davies.
