Dr Stephen Feldman rewarded for 34 years contribution to football

- 15 of Feldman’s 34 years have been at Huddersfield Town

Huddersfield Town’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr Stephen Feldman, has won the 2019 Longstanding Service Award at this year’s FMPA Awards, after being rewarded for 34 years contribution to football.

After beginning his involvement with football at Bradford City and then spending 14 years at Leeds United, Dr Stephen Feldman joined Huddersfield Town in May 2005.

A GP and Orthopaedic physician, Dr Feldman is considered by his fellow professionals as a knowledgeable doctor in the field of Sports Medicine with a wealth of experience.

Dr Feldman also worked with the England Youth Teams prior to Huddersfield Town’s promotion to the Premier League.

The sixth FMPA Awards were held at the Radisson Blu at East Midlands Airport hotel on Friday 17 May 2019 and the awards ceremony was hosted by BBC Sports Presenter Hugh Ferris.

The Football Medicine and Performance Association (FMPA) is the representative body for medicine and performance practitioners working within professional football.
