One lucky fan set to meet Christopher Schindler before Man Utd

Blue and White Foundation members voted Christopher Schindler as Huddersfield Town’s Player of the Season for the 2018/19 Premier League season.
The 29-year-old centre-half narrowly beat Karlan Grant and Jonathan Hogg to the award after all the votes were counted.
During the 2018/19 campaign, Schindler performed well consistently and was always in close contention to winning one of the BWF Player of the Month awards.
The German defender is one of the leaders for Town in terms of defensive stats over the course of the campaign after featuring in 35 games so far.
‘Schindy’ is top for the Terriers in terms of clearances making 114. He has also made 62 interceptions, had a 62% tackle succession and made 113 recoveries.
This is the second award Town’s Captain has won this season after being named as the Club’s Player of the Year Annual Awards evening on Sunday 21 April 2019.
Blue and White Foundation member Mr Michael Habergham from Cleckheaton voted for Christopher and was drawn to meet him before Town’s final home Premier League game of the season against Manchester United to present him with his Champagne.
Michael will also receive a signed Christopher Schindler shirt and a commemorative signed photo.
All the money generated from the £2 a week that Blue & White Foundation members pay goes straight to the Huddersfield Town Academy.
