First England Under-18 call-up for Town youngster Matty Daly
- Matty Daly receives first England Under-18s call-up

Young Huddersfield Town midfielder Matty Daly has received his first call-up for England’s Under-18s.
The 18-year-old impressed for England’s Under-17s in last summer’s European Championships where the Young Terriers reached the Semi-Finals. He has earned 10 caps for the U17s and scored one goal.
Now, Matty will join up with Neil Dewsnip’s Under-18s side for the Slovakia Cup.
The Young Lions will face Russia, Slovakia and Mexico in Group A of the competition.

If the England youngsters progress through the group, they will feature in the Finals Day on Friday 24 May 2019.
This call-up ends a positive end of the season for Matty, who made his Huddersfield Town and Premier League debut against Watford on Saturday 20 April 2019 as a substitute. He also came on as a substitute against Southampton on the final day of the season.
Matty, who hails from Stockport, joined Huddersfield Town at Under-15 level.
