The Aussie joined Huddersfield Town on loan from Man City back in 2016 and has been a fully-fledged Terrier ever since. Mooy was Town’s joint second top scorer during the Club’s second season in the Premier League and played an important role in the middle of midfield.
With 29 appearances, three goals and one assist the 28-year-old has had some stellar moments for the Terriers in what was a difficult season for the Club.
But it’s not just been all about the football this season. A young fan battling brain cancer flew 7,500 miles from the US to see him play in the home fixture against Leicester City. Bella, a seven-year-old football fan, made the journey after reaching out as she felt connected to him as he had a bald head just as she did! He scored on that day and dedicated the goal to the youngster.
