Club’s Office Staff nominated at 2019 Examiner Community Awards

- Club’s Office Staff earns special recognition
- Awards evening takes place on Thursday 23 May 2019

Huddersfield Town’s Office Staff have been nominated for the Outstanding Community Spirit award at the 2019 Examiner Community Awards in association with Syngenta.

The work that Town’s Office Staff has done during the 2018/19 Premier League season has seen them earn special recognition by the Huddersfield Examiner.

The 2019 Examiner Community Awards in association with Syngenta celebrates ordinary people doing extraordinary things and aims to thank local shining stars and those unsung heroes and heroines who go above and beyond often without thanks or reward.

This year’s winners will be revealed at the awards evening at the John Smith’s Stadium on Thursday 23 May 2019, with Huddersfield-born ITN newsreader Nina Hossain hosting the event, once again.

The Outstanding Community Spirit award is one of 14 awards that will be given out on the night, with the other accolades including Friend of the Year and the Achievement Award.

Speaking about the event ExaminerLive Editor Wayne Ankers said: “This year is a milestone for the Community Awards – it’s our 20th year.

"It allows ExaminerLive to remain at the heart of the community by recognising those who do so much special work throughout the year."

Huddersfield Town’s Operations Director, Ann Hough, added:

“It is absolutely fantastic that the Club’s staff have been nominated for such a prestigious award.

“Everyone at this club gives 100% to make Huddersfield Town a community club and to provide the best service to our supporters.”
