Jaheim Headley scooped Huddersfield Town’s Academy Goal of the Season award for the 2018/19 campaign.

The winning strike came in an Under-17s game against Manchester United in November where the side, managed by Dean Whitehead, ran out 2-1 winners over the Red Devils.

It came after a patient bit of build-up play from the Young Terriers, as the ball was worked from the right into the feet of Jaheim Headley who dispatched the ball from the edge of the area with his favoured left foot.

Jaheim was presented with the Waterworth Trophy by Craig and Ruddi from Ruddi’s Retreat at half-time during Town’s final home game of the season at the John Smith’s Stadium against Manchester United.

The young midfielder is coming to the end of the first year of his scholarship at the Club having joined from Mass Elite Academy at the start of the season.

He has turned out for the Under-17s on 29 occasions over the course of the season getting on the scoresheet on seven occasions.
