Jan Siewert makes three changes to Huddersfield Town’s starting XI

- Huddersfield Town starting line-up named for AFC Bournemouth
- Aaron Mooy, Elias Kachunga and Zanka all start
- Karlan Grant a substitute; Terence Kongolo & Jonathan Hogg injured

Head Coach Jan Siewert has made three changes to Huddersfield Town’s starting XI for today’s Premier League game against AFC Bournemouth; 3pm kick-off at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Unfortunately, Jonathan Hogg has not recovered from the rib injury that forced him off the pitch during last weekend’s game at Brighton & Hove Albion. He is joined on the side-lines by Terence Kongolo, who misses out today with a hip problem.

Aaron Mooy returns to the team for his 100th start for Huddersfield Town, whilst Zanka also comes in for his first appearance in three games.

The final change sees Elias Kachunga return to the starting line-up in place of Karlan Grant, who is a substitute today.

The in-form Jon Gorenc Stanković starts a third successive game for the first time since joining the Terriers in the summer of 2016.

With Kongolo and Hogg joining Tommy Smith (suspended), Adama Diakhaby (hamstring), Isaac Mbenza (calf), Danny Williams (knee), Laurent Depoitre (foot) and Demeaco Duhaney (hip) on the list of unavailable players today, there’s opportunity for two Academy players among the substitutes today.

Matty Daly, who turns 18 on Sunday, is named on the bench again today, as he was at Brighton last weekend. He’s joined by Under-19 teammate Aaron Rowe today; the 18-year-old winger makes his debut appearance in a First Team squad this afternoon after scoring twice in the midweek win at Bradford City for Dean Whitehead’s side. Jason Puncheon also returns to the bench this afternoon.
