Head Coach Jan Siewert explained that he felt sorry for the Huddersfield Town supporters following his side’s performance against AFC Bournemouth.

The Terriers lost 2-0 to the Cherries at the John Smith’s Stadium and put in a performance that thoroughly disappointed Town’s Head Coach.

When speaking to #HTTV after the game, Jan expressed his frustrations.

“My immediate thought is that I feel sorry for everyone who came here today.

“The first half was not acceptable for me and I didn’t like the performance at all.

“I spoke to the players at half-time, they responded to it and reacted, but the second goal killed the game.

“I am not happy today. I want a big reaction; an attitude reaction, of course. I want to talk to them tomorrow.”

Jan Siewert went on to explain what he expects and wants to see from his players during Premier League matches.

“I will be proud to present my way of football to the supporters. I want to show them my football.

“My football is fighting, winning games, attacking and giving players the opportunity to crowd the box to try and score.

“In the first half we had no threat; this was not my football. I will fight for this club.”
