Danish trio promote Club Merchandise in Copenhagen Sportswear shop

- Lössl, Zanka and Billing launch exciting new Retail campaign
- Unisport’s Copenhagen store now stocking Town kits
- Comments from Commercial Director Sean Jarvis

Huddersfield Town’s Danish trio helped launch an exciting new retail agreement in Denmark with Unisport.

Jonas Lössl, Mathias Zanka and Philip Billing took time out of their busy international schedules to be at the launch event at Unisport’s flagship store in the centre of Copenhagen.

The locals got the chance to meet Town’s three Danish internationals and to find out more about Huddersfield Town and their respective careers to date.

The agreement with the Nordic based Sportswear store means that Huddersfield Town’s 2018/19 official replica kit is available to purchase from their Copenhagen store.

Founded in Denmark, Unisport is one of the leading sports retailers in Europe stocking a whole host of footballing equipment for players and fans.

The company also have physical stores in countries such as Netherlands, Germany and France whilst servicing a global market through their website.

Huddersfield Town Commercial Director Sean Jarvis commented:

“Having three Danish internationals at the Club made it an absolute no-brainer for us to branch out and drop the Huddersfield Town brand into Denmark.

“The agreement means that the people of Denmark now have the opportunity to take their interest in the Club that little bit further by being able to purchase a shirt fairly easily.

“Perhaps this agreement might even attract new fans, maybe they notice a different shirt on the shelves, who knows? Only time will tell.

Zanka has collected 22 full international caps for Denmark, scored for his country at the FIFA World Cup and has sinced captained the Danes. He joined the Terriers from F.C. Copenhagen in 2017.

Philip Billing came from the somewhat unknown to many Danes having left the country at the age of 16 to join Huddersfield Town and eventually progress into the First Team.

The young midfielder received his first full international call-up to the Denmark senior team during the current international break.

Jonas Lössl has made just the one international appearance playing in the second-half of a game against Scotland at Hampden Park in 2016.
