The 17-year-old midfielder has been an ever-present in Huddersfield Town’s Under-17’s this season after his impressive performances starting 24 matches.
Born in Morley, Austerfield joined Town’s development at Under-8 level from junior club Drighlington, and has been progressing through the ranks ever since.
Josh has also caught the eye of Under-19 Coach Dean Whitehead, making a further 12 appearances for his side, eight of which being starts.
He can play in the middle of midfield or further up the pitch in the number 10 role giving lots of flexibility for his coaches.
