The Terriers’ put on a battling performance for the travelling Town supporters and were unlucky to come away with defeat after Chicharito’s stoppage time winner.
Town found the net on three occasions for the first time this season after Juninho Bacuna’s first-half strike and a brace from Karlan Grant.
However, despite being 3-1 ahead, a header from Ogbonna and a late brace from Chicharito condemned Town to defeat.
Young Terrier Aaron Rowe also made his first professional start against West Ham United at the London Stadium.
