Do you remember Huddersfield Town’s 3-0 win against Crystal Palace, in the Club’s first ever Premier League game?

The Terriers’ visit to Selhurst Park in the 2017/18 season resulted in a remarkable 3-0 win for Town.

The score ine highlighted an impressive Premier League debut for Town who sat at the top of the table after the opening day of the season on goal difference, following the win.

Palace defender Joel Ward put the ball past his own goalkeeper after Mathias Zanka had connected with an Aaron Mooy corner at the back post, to put Town in to a first-half lead.

Just three minutes later, Steve Mounié scored his first Huddersfield Town goal! The striker leaped up to head home Mooy’s cross from out on the left.

If the Town fans weren’t already in dreamland, they were on 78 minutes. Mounié side-footed Collin Quaner’s low ball past Wayne Hennessey to round-off a perfect start to life in the Premier League for David Wagner’s Terriers.
