Juninho Bacuna shared his disappointment with #HTTV after Huddersfield Town fell to a 4-3 defeat to West Ham United at the London Stadium.

“It’s very hard to take” explained Bacuna

“Everyone is really disappointed and it’s not possible to lose this game if you’re 3-1 up; it’s impossible to lose this game to two set pieces.”

The Dutch midfielder had drawn the sides level with his first goal for the Club, heading home expertly from a corner to cancel out Mark Noble’s opener from the spot.

Any feelings of joy about his first goal in blue and white stripes were overshadowed with the disappointment at the final result.

“That was my first goal and I’m happy, but I’ve still got mixed feelings because we’ve lost the game.

“I think it will take time [to recover]. We have to switch on because we still have seven games left and we have to try and play like we did for the first 60 minutes.”

Bacuna concluded by discussing the lessons learned from the game and saved a mention for the continued backing of the Town faithful.

“We have to focus on the things we did well; we have to improve and learn from that. Hopefully next time we will do it better.

“From my side I’m disappointed we lost the game and I like the atmosphere, it was good like always. We have to keep going and still believe in it, we believe in it and hopefully we will get some good results soon.”
