Jan Siewert’s Huddersfield Town will face 2. Bundesliga side SpVgg Greuther Fürth twice as part of the pre-season camp in Austria.
The Terriers will travel to Austria for the training camp on Sunday 7 July 2019 before playing their first two games against SpVgg Greuther Fürth three days later (Wednesday 10 July 2019).
Both Jan Siewert and SpVgg Greuther Fürth Manager Stefan Leitl will select two sides to play in two games during that day. The first game will take place at the German side’s base Sportzentrum Wörgl (Madersbacherweg 7, 6300 Wörgl, Austria) kicking off at 11am local time.
Directions to Wörgl (from Kirchberg): Supporters can get the train to Wörgl Hbf and the Stadium is an eight-minute walk away.
The two sides will then meet for a second leg later in the day, this time at Town’s Brixen im Thale base (Schwimmbadweg 24, 6364 Brixen im Thale), kicking off at 5pm local time.
Directions to Brixen im Thale (from Kirchberg): Supporters can get a train or bus to Brixen im Thale Station, then the Stadium is a 10-minute walk.
Huddersfield Town supporters can attend both the matches; admission information will be confirmed on htafc.com in due course.

During the 2018/19 campaign, SpVgg Greuther Fürth finished 13th in 2. Bundesliga table with 42 points from 34 games.
Town fans may recognise American winger Julian Green, who featured against the Club in 2017 for VfB Stuttgart. He also has 15 caps for the USA.
SpVgg Greuther Fürth’s last spell in the Bundesliga was during the 2012/13 campaign.
