In the run up to Huddersfield Town’s 2019/20 season in the Sky Bet Championship, htafc.com are taking a look back at some of the most memorable fixtures against teams the Terriers will face in the upcoming season – today we look back at our 2-1 win over West Bromwich Albion in February 2018.
After five straight defeats, The Terriers made it back to back wins in February after a 4-1 win over Bournemouth was backed up with this 2-1 win at The Hawthorns.
The first half ended goalless, but Town took the lead just three minutes into the second period as Collin Quaner cut the ball back to Rajiv van La Parra who fired home.
Town soon doubled their lead as Alex Pritchard played a neat ball through the heart of the Baggies defence that saw Steve Mounié latched onto and finished past Ben Foster.
West Brom pulled one back with Craig Dawson heading home a Chris Brunt corner, but it turned out to be a consolation as Town took home the three points.
