Siewert takes 26-man squad to Kirchberg for the week

Jan Siewert’s First Team squad departed for Austria on Sunday to begin a week-long stay in mainland Europe!
The Terriers will be based in Kirchberg for the week of hard training, with a brace of games against Greuther Fürth planned for Wednesday on top of Saturday’s clash with Hamburger SV – all of which you can watch LIVE on iFollow HTAFC.
26 players have made the journey with club partner Multiflight on Sunday morning, including Town’s three new summer recruits Tommy Elphick, Reece Brown and Josh Koroma.
Florent Hadergjonaj and Jon Gorenc Stanković join the squad after returning from extended leave, but several other members of Town’s squad who have been in international action over the summer will remain at PPG Canalside for testing and a tailored training programme.
Several Town Academy players who have stepped up into First Team training during pre-season have also travelled; the likes of full back Jaden Brown, centre back Rarmani Edmonds-Green, winger Ben Jackson and goalkeeper Luke Mewitt.
Siewert has also brought one trialist on the trip; 23-year-old midfielder Moses Makasi, formerly of West Ham United, who has already trained with Town for over a week.
