Huddersfield Town have agreed a new contract with Scott High ahead of the 2019/20 campaign!

The 18-year-old had his first involvement with the First Team match day squad recently as he replaced Jonathan Hogg as a 78th minute substitute in the 3-1 pre-season win over Rochdale.

Scott signed his first professional deal in February 2018 and has now agreed an extension that will keep him with the Club until June 2022.

Captain of the Under-19s, he amassed the most appearances of any player in the Academy system turning out on 43 occasions for the Elite Development & Under-19 sides - scoring seven goals.

Scott typically operates as a ball-playing number-six in the Terriers’ System and has excelled in the Huddersfield Town Academy sides over the last couple of seasons.

Town’s Academy Manager Leigh Bromby commented:

“We’re delighted that Scott has committed his future to the Club by signing this new deal.

“He’s got a tremendous attitude and continues to make great strides forward in his development – proven by his recent involvement in the First Team at Rochdale.

“There’s still a tremendous amount of hard work to be done by both Scott and the coaches at Town but we continue to give him all the right challenges and opportunities to make an impact at First Team level.”
