Popular initiative returns for Town’s next home game

- Bring Blue and White scarves to the Manchester City match
- Create a visual spectacle for the Premier League game live on TV
- Comments from Commercial Director Sean Jarvis

Huddersfield Town has urged supporters to bring and swing their blue and white scarves for the Club’s upcoming Premier League game against Manchester City!

As a follow-up to the highly successful ‘Scarf Games’ over the last two years against Wigan Athletic and Brighton & Hove Albion, the Club is encouraging supporters to back it, once again, to create a real visual spectacle in-front of the TV cameras in all four home ends.

If you don’t have a blue and white scarf for the occasion, don’t panic! The Stadium Superstore and the Terriers Store at the John Smith’s Stadium, the Packhorse Centre store in Huddersfield and htafcmegastore.com have a full range of stocked scarves available right now!

On the ‘Scarf Game’, Huddersfield Town’s Commercial Director Sean Jarvis commented:

“The atmosphere created by Huddersfield Town supporters inside the John Smith’s Stadium has been absolutely outstanding over the course of the last few seasons and our fans are quite rightly getting the plaudits they deserve on a national scale.

“Over the past two years, I believe, the visual effect of the ‘Scarf Game’ combined with the electric atmosphere inside the John Smith’s Stadium has been remarkable, something that I want to see again.

“This is why, we would urge you all to bring and swing your scarves at our home game against Manchester City in front of the Sky Sports cameras!

“We saw over the last two seasons and I’ve been to Germany and seen this done very effectively at huge clubs like Dortmund, so I’d ask every fan to buy into the spirit of the occasion and help the Club create something special once again.”

Tickets for this game are sold out, apart from Terrier Exchange, but there's another way for you to watch it! CLICK HERE for more information on the Beer & Banter hospitality box!
