Huddersfield Town’s Jonas Lössl stated his disappointment following Huddersfield Town’s 2-1 defeat to Burnley at the John Smith’s Stadium but said that the side need to take the positives from the game.

Town went 1-0 up in the first half as striker Steve Mounié bagged his first goal of the season for Town, but goals from Chris Wood and Robbie Brady condemned Town to a narrow defeat.

When speaking to #HTTV following the defeat, Jonas Lössl admitted the goal for the Benin international will do him a world of good.

“It was a great goal. Classic Mounié. We all need to build on the good things from this game. We did show energy and we did show desire.

“Right now, I am very disappointed about another loss but in two days we have another game which we need to look to.”

Lössl went on to state that he still has faith in the side and that the squad will continue to fight for those all-important points.

“I have said a couple of times before as well that we do have some characters in the group and we do have the desire to give everything and to fight for this and I still believe. We still fight.

“The fans are a massive part of this club and we still need their support. We will do everything we can.”
