Huddersfield Town’s Vice Captain Jonathan Hogg urged everyone to keep sticking together following the Club’s 0-0 draw with Cardiff City.

The result means the Terriers are eight points from safety with 16 games remaining.

When speaking to #HTTV after the game, ‘Hoggy’ made it clear that togetherness is key when trying to survive in the top-flight.

“Everyone is down; it’s hard. We need to try our best to stay positive, but when you aren’t winning games it’s always hard to do that.

“We need to stick together, don’t forget where we’ve come from and the hard times we’ve been through because this is where we need everyone pulling in the same direction.

“If we have people pulling in the opposite direction it doesn’t help, so we have to try our best to stay together so we can pull through it.”

During the match Town arguably created the better chances and had a penalty decision overturned.

Town’s midfield general explained that everyone needs to stand up and be counted.

“It was a frustrating result. The performance was there, attitude was fantastic and work rate was brilliant. It was just the same thing, we lacked that cutting edge upfront.

“We need to start taking responsibility for ourselves and get some points on the board sooner rather than later.”

‘Hoggy’ went on to discuss the penalty incident, momentum in the game and his role as a leader in the dressing room.
