Despite creating the best opening chances to the game, Dean Whitehead’s side fell behind after giving away a penalty. A strong spot kick from Dan Butterworth beat Joel Coleman to put the hosts ahead.
That goal, however, didn’t deter Town’s youngsters, who continued to perform well and create more chances. Although, they couldn’t find a way past the Blackburn goalkeeper.
