Leigh Bromby’s side fell behind on the quarter-hour mark when Brentford recovered the ball and found Marcuss Forss. Town responded well and Aaron Rowe scored an equaliser with five minutes of the first-half to spare.
Trialist Will McCamley responded to Brentford’s second goal looping a shot over the goalkeeper and into the net.
This was quickly followed by two more goals from Brentford to put the game to bed. However, Town didn’t let this deter them and another trialist, Hamza Kaid, made his mark scoring Town’s third goal.
