Whitehead taking Young Terriers to Derbyshire

After assisting Mark Hudson in caretaker charge of the First Team last weekend, Dean Whitehead returns to the day job when he leads Huddersfield Town’s Under-17 side on Saturday!
‘Deano’ will lead the Young Terriers in their latest Under-18 Youth Alliance League game of the season at Chesterfield, with the game kicking off at the Spireites Academy at 11am.
As has been the case all season, Town’s side will consist totally of first year scholars and younger Under-16 trialists, who must cope with the physical challenge of facing older opponents in the Under-18 league.
A selection of Whitehead’s youngsters are now stepping up to play with the Under-19s for the rest of the season, with the likes of striker Kian Harratt (pictured above) and midfielder Josh Austerfield featuring against Brentford B in an action-packed midweek game.
