Huddersfield Town Head Coach Jan Siewert delighted with win over Wolves

Head Coach Siewert hailed the performance of the players after his first win in charge of the Club and a double for Huddersfield Town this season over Wolves.

Steve Mounié scored a 91st minute winner to give Town a first win under the new Head Coach Jan Siewert.

“I’m so proud of Steve Mounié because as a striker you need that feeling of scoring and he’ll really enjoy that tonight.

“The players won on the pitch tonight, they showed that we will fight to the end.”

Siewert’s side was backed throughout the game by the magnificent Huddersfield Town fans.

He explained how that support combined with his side’s fighting attitude gave him the belief that his players would find a winner.

“I really believed that the goal would come and in the end it did.

“Since I arrived here the fans have supported me and it’s incredible how brilliant they are. It’s not just a squad and the staff, it’s all of us and the supporters deserved that tonight.”
