Huddersfield Town midfielder Juninho Bacuna acknowledged that himself and the rest of the players can be proud of the performance despite the Club’s 2-1 defeat to Unai Emery’s Arsenal side.

The result means that the Terriers are 13 points from safety with 12 games remaining.

When speaking to #HTTV after the game, Bacuna added that the team fought until the end of the game.

“We can be proud of that performance as a team, the way we played, and we fought until the end.

“Obviously it’s not the result we wanted but we can be proud of how we played.”

The midfielder went onto say that the atmosphere created by the Town supporters was excellent for the whole of the 90 minutes before the players were given a standing ovation at the full-time whistle.

“We’ve been playing well and the fans for the 90 minutes are behind us.”

Bacuna also commented that it was good as a side to get that goal scoring feeling back and how pleased he was to start his fourth consecutive game in the Premier League.
