LOAN WATCH: FIRST TEAM EXPERIENCE FOR TOWN PLAYERS

22 Huddersfield Town players out on loan or work experience

- Huddersfield Town First Team players out on loan

During the 2018/19 campaign, Huddersfield Town has 22 out gaining valuable First Team football either on loan or on work experience.

htafc.com takes a look at how all of Town’s players have been getting on at their respective clubs.

Ryan Schofield at Notts County

Ryan Schofield joined Notts County on loan during the January Transfer Window for the remainder of the 2018/19 season.

Ryan has made three appearances for the Club, most recently in the 2-1 win over Forest Green.

During that period, County has only lost one game and drew with table toppers Lincoln City. Ryan has been recognised on social media for his celebrations following a penalty save against the Imps.

Notts Country currently sit bottom in Sky Bet Championship League 2 with 25 points from 31 games.

Rajiv van La Parra at Middlesbrough

Rajiv has made his second appearance for Middlesbrough after joining on loan for the remainder of the 2018/19 season.

He featured for 45 minutes against Newport County most recently in the Emirates FA Cup.

Middlesbrough currently sit sixth in the Sky Bet Championship table with 51 points from 31 games.

Collin Quaner at Ipswich Town

Collin has made five appearances for Ipswich Town since joining on loan.

The striker, who can also play out wide, most recently played for 75 minutes in the Club’s 1-1 draw against Derby County.

Ipswich sit bottom of the Sky Bet Championship with 19 points from 32 games.

Ramadan Sobhi at Al Ahly

Since going back to his home nation and re-joining the Egyptian Champions Al Ahly on loan, Ramadan has made five starts.

His latest four starts have all been wins – and he scored his first goal since being on loan in their 3-0 win against El Makasa.

Al Ahly currently sit third in the Egyptian Premier League with 39 points from 18 games.

Lewis O’Brien at Bradford City

The 20-year-old midfielder has flourished on his loan spell with Sky Bet League 1 side Bradford City.

The youngster, who was named as Town’s Academy Player of the Year twice in the last three seasons, has been dubbed as one of the Club’s players of the season by both supporters and local press.

Lewis has made 32 appearances for the Bantams and scored his second professional goal at the end of last month. He took the Club ahead against Shrewsbury Town in the 4-3 thriller.

Jack Payne at Bradford City

Another of Bradford City’s key performers is attacking midfielder Jack Payne.

Like Lewis, Jack has been on loan with the Bantams since the start of the season and has become one of the Club’s main outlets for goals.

So far this season, Jack has scored nine times – including the first goal against Shrewsbury Town.

Managed by David Hopkins, Bradford City currently sits 23rd in the Sky Bet League 1 table with 32 points.

Rekeil Pyke at Rochdale

During the January transfer window, Rekeil Pyke made the move from Vanarama National League side AFC Wrexham to Sky Bet League 1 Club Rochdale – moving up three divisions!

The striker, who has also played out wide during his loan spells, made his debut for the Club in a win over Walsall on 2 February 2019.

Regan Booty at Aldershot Town

The 20-year-old midfielder has made 26 appearances for the Vanarama National League club.

Aldershot currently sit 22nd in the Vanarama National League with 28 points from 32 games.

Isaac Marriot at Larne FC

The all-action central midfielder has previous experience of men’s football from a work experience spell at Brighouse Town last season.

The 19-year-old is yet to feature for the Club, who top of the Bluefin Sport Championship. However, he is struggling with an injury.

Dom Tear at Larne FC

Similarly, Dom has also joined Larne FC on loan for the rest of the season.

For Town’s reigning Academy Player of the Year this is his first taste of senior football.

He made his first appearance for the Club as a substitute in their 3-1 win against Crumlin Star.

Olly Dyson at Barrow

After impressing on previous loan spells, Olly Dyson joined National League side Barrow on work experience and has made three appearances for the Club.

Barrow currently sit 11th in the Vanarama National League table with 42 points from 32 games.

Romoney Crichlow-Noble at Bradford (Park Avenue)

Romoney Crichlow-Noble joined Bradford Park Avenue in his first loan spell.

The defender is yet to start for the Club, who currently sit fifth in the National League North.

George Danaher at Curzon Ashton

Young striker George Danager has recently joined Curzon Ashton on Work Experience.

He joined the National League North Club after impressing in the ninth-tier with Abbey Hey, making 15 appearances and scoring two goals.

Sam Gibson, Mason O’Malley and Oran Thompson at Liversedge FC

Young full-back Sam Gibson has made 12 appearances for Liversedge since starting his work experience spell.

Like Sam, fellow Young Terriers Mason O’Malley and Oran Thompson have also made an impact starting two and three matches respectively.

The Club currently sits 13th in the Northern Countries East Football League Premier Division.

Ben Mills at AFC Emley

Ben Mills has gained some experience of First Team football on work experience with AFC Emley.

The young attacker has made 14 appearances for the Club, scoring one goal. AFC Emley currently sits 14th in the Northern Counties East Football League Division One.

Dahomey Raymond at Shelley FC

After not featuring for Liversedge FC, Dahomey Raymond joined Shelley FC in search of First Team experience.

The midfielder has since made 14 appearances for the Club. Shelley FC sits seventh in the North West Counties Football League First Division North.

Jordan Eli at Brighouse Town

Jordan Eli has made five appearances for Brighouse Town after joining the Club on work experience.

The Club competes in the Northern Premier League Division One East League and currently sits in second place.

Rarmani Edmonds-Green at Brighouse Town

Rarmani joined Brighouse Town on loan for the rest of the 2018/19 season at the end of last month.

This will be the first loan spell for the 20-year-old, giving him important experience of senior men’s football in the next step of his development.

The centre back is yet to feature for Brighouse.

Harrison Davison-Hale at Ossett United

Young goalkeeper Harrison Davison-Hale made 12 appearances on work experience at Liversedge FC before moving to Ossett United.

The 18-year-old is yet to feature for Ossett, who sit sixth in the Northern Premier League Division One East.

Luke Mewitt at Marske United

Since joining Marske United on loan for the rest of the season, the goalkeeper has made five appearances.

His most recent came in the Club’s 1-0 win against Cleethorpes Town. The team currently sit ninth in the Non-League Division One.
