Jonathan Hogg wins BWF Player of the Month for January

Blue and White Foundation members voted Jonathan Hogg as Huddersfield Town’s January 2019 Player of the Month!
When the votes were counted, Hoggy beat his teammates to the prize, with goalkeeper Jonas Lössl coming a close second.
This is the first time Jonathan Hogg has won the award this season and during the month of January he put in a number of battling performances and showed off his leadership skills in the middle of the pitch.
The 30-year-old has been a key figure for Town during the 2018/19 campaign, making over 1,000 passes and having one assist to his name.
Defensively, he has a tackle percentage of 59%, has made 163 ball recoveries and won 91 duels with his opponents.
Blue and White Foundation member John Merrifield from Edgerton voted for Hoggy and was drawn to meet him before Town’s next Premier League home game against Arsenal to present him with his champagne.
John will also receive a commemorative signed photo with Town’s Vice Captain.
When speaking to #HTTV about the award, Hoggy said:
“It’s really nice of the fans to vote for me for this award. It’s been a difficult month and we need to stick together.
“I know the fans have been doing it all season, coming in their numbers and sticking with the lads, and that needs to keep on-running.”
