32 gamers are set to battle it out to be crowned Huddersfield Town’s best Xbox and PlayStation FIFA 19 players and to represent the Club in the ePremier League.
PPG Canalside plays host to the next stage on Wednesday 6 March 2019 where the competition switches from its current online format, with gamers descending on Town’s PPG Canalside Training Ground to battle it out.
Over 700 people entered at the first stage of the competition with a series of online games played throughout January deciding the top 32 ranked players who progressed.
The players will play straight knockout games until one Xbox and one PlayStation player is crowned as champion on the evening.
Plans are already in place for Town supporters to be able to watch the Club Knockouts via a stream on the Club’s official social media channels.
Those two lucky winners will then travel to London to represent Huddersfield Town in the ePremier League Grand Final played over the weekend of 28/29 March 2019 and broadcast live on Sky Sports.
This is the first ever Esports competition hosted by the Premier League with all twenty clubs going through the same process of finding two supporters to represent them in the Grand Final.
