Huddersfield Town is deeply saddened to report the passing of employee Emma Calderwood, aged 32, on Saturday, following a battle with cancer.

Emma, born and raised in Huddersfield, supported Town from a young age and attended games with her father, mother, husband and son.

Emma had been a member of the Huddersfield Town retail team since 2017.

Huddersfield Town Retail Manager Luke Cowan:

“Emma was bright, enthusiastic, extremely approachable and loved Huddersfield Town. Often talking to whoever visited the shops, there was a genuine sense Emma cared for the Club, fans and the department. This is an extremely difficult time for everyone; Emma will be sadly missed.

“The Club would like to thank Kirkwood Hospice for offering Emma the very best of care. Members of the Huddersfield Town Retail Department will be taking part in the Kirkwood Hospice ‘Midnight Memory Walk’; fans can support and donate via this link.

“All our thoughts are now with Emma’s family and friends, many of whom work at Huddersfield Town.”
