TOWN HOST LIVERPOOL IN PL CUP ON MONDAY NIGHT!

1 December 2019

Come and support the Young Terriers in their massive test

- Huddersfield Town’s EDT side hosts Liverpool FC on 2 December
- Young Terriers take on the Reds at the John Smith’s Stadium
- Come and support Leigh Bromby’s side from 7pm!

Huddersfield Town’s Elite Development Team will face one of its toughest tests of the season on Monday evening – and you can be there to back the Young Terriers!

Academy Manager Leigh Bromby will lead the Club’s most promising players against the might of Liverpool FC’s Under-23s in the latest group stage game of the Premier League Cup campaign.

The game will take place under the floodlights at the John Smith’s Stadium, kicking off at 7pm. Admission is priced at £5 for adults and £2 for concessions, with every supporter asked to pay at the gate.

The Premier League Cup is a competition for Under-23 players, although clubs are permitted to play three overage outfielders and an overage goalkeeper if they choose.

There are 32 teams split across eight groups at the current stage, with the top two teams in each group qualifying for the knockout stage.

Monday night’s fixture will be the third group game of six for both sides, with Liverpool top of the group after wins over Sunderland and Wigan Athletic. Town sits second following opening draws against the same opponents.

We’d love to see you at the JSS supporting the youngsters, but you can follow live text updates on the @htafcacademy Twitter account if you can’t make the game.
