On Saturday 23 November, before the Terriers home fixture against Birmingham City, the Town Foundation’s NCS Autumn programme participants completed their social action project known as ‘Healthy Huddz’.

Healthy Huddz was a dual-purpose campaign designed to raise funds for Stirley Community Farm and promote healthy eating via a sponsored walk. During the walk, participants picked litter on route to help clean up the local area.

The sponsored walk began at Huddersfield Train Station and travelled up to Greenhead Park before finishing at The John Smith’s Stadium in time for participants to celebrate by watching the game.

Through their fundraising, the group raised £217.68 for Stirley Community Farm and collected an impressive 13 bags of litter.
