Initiative returns for sixth season
- HTAFC Fan Memorial returns at Blackburn game
- A chance to remember Town fans lost in 2019
- Picture & text to be shown in programme and on big screen
Huddersfield Town will once again give supporters the chance to remember their loved ones who have passed away during 2019 at the Sky Bet Championship game against Blackburn Rovers on Sunday 29 December 2019.
The Club will remember everyone associated with Huddersfield Town who has lost their life over the course of the year at the final home game of the year against Blackburn Rovers.
Before kick-off and at half-time supporters who sent in their memorials will be able to see their remembrance images and text displayed on the Big Screen, along with being printed in the ‘The Terrier’ match day programme.
Huddersfield Town’s Supporter Services Manager Robyn Kennerdale commented:
“This will be the sixth season that supporters have been able to remember their loved ones in this way, and the memorial match has always been well received by both home and away supporters.
“As the year ends, the Blackburn game is the perfect time to reflect and remember all those Town fans we have sadly lost.”
If you know of a Town fan who has passed away during the last 12 months who you would like to be remembered in this way, please send an email including the person’s name, your relationship to them, a good quality photo of them in JPEG format and a maximum of 20 accompanying words to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please note that, depending on available space, the text is subject to editing.
The deadline for inclusion will be on Friday 6 December at 5pm. Regrettably, any emails received after this deadline will not be included.
