Huddersfield Town have been handed an away tie in the Third Round of the Emirates FA Cup against Premier League side Southampton.
Danny Cowley’s side will face the Saints at St. Mary’s, with the game scheduled across the weekend of Friday 3 January 2020 and Monday 6 January 2020.

The draw was broadcast live from Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium on BBC Two at 7pm.
Hosted by Mark Chapman, former defenders Micah Richards and Tony Adams drew the balls out for the Third Round ties.
Town and Southampton have never met before in the Emirates FA Cup. However, the last two times the Terriers made the trip to St. Mary’s in the Premier League, the matches finished 1-1.
Town’s last win away from home against the Saints came on 4 September 1971 in Division One.
