- Jonathan Hogg on the moment he thought his career was over

“I feared that my career could’ve been over” admitted Jonathan Hogg as he gave The Terrier a fascinating account of his horrific injury away at Bristol City.

The combative midfielder laid perfectly still on the ground for eight-minutes, not allowed to move his neck in case he made the damage any worse, after a collision with then-Club Captain Mark Hudson on a cold Friday night at Ashton Gate.

In the newly-styled main player feature, Hoggy gave his own account of the incident:

“I hit the ground and pain surged through my body. I’ve never felt anything like it before.

“It was mainly in my neck, but a tingling sensation and the sharp pain surged through my arm and my back; it felt disgusting.

“I feared that my career could’ve been over.”

You can read all of Hoggy’s thoughts on that moment if you purchase a copy of The Terrier on Friday night against Fulham.
