Caretaker Head Coach Mark Hudson has handed a Sky Bet Championship debut to Jaden Brown in today’s game against Reading; 3pm kick-off at the John Smith’s Stadium.
The 20-year-old left back, who joined from Tottenham Hotspur in the January 2019 transfer window, has previously started one Carabao Cup game for the Terriers, as well as five other senior games.
Today the England Under-19 international starts in the league for Town, with fellow defender Tommy Elphick dropping to the substitutes’ bench.
Hudson’s second change comes on the wing, where Adama Diakhaby replaces Isaac Mbenza.
There’s one switch on the bench too, where summer signing Josh Koroma replaces Elias Kachunga.
Terence Kongolo makes his 50th league appearance for the Club today, whilst midweek goal-scorer Trevoh Chalobah starts his first league game at the John Smith’s Stadium.
Winger Rajiv van La Parra starts for the second successive game, marking his first JSS start since the game against Crystal Palace in September 2018.
