Siewert hands debuts to two summer signings

Head Coach Jan Siewert has handed competitive Club debuts to two players ahead of tonight’s Sky Bet Championship game at home to Derby County; 7.45pm kick-off at the John Smith’s Stadium.

Liverpool FC loanee Kamil Grabara, 20, starts in goal for the Terriers, whilst Tommy Elphick also starts in central defence.

There are three other possible Town debutants among the substitutes tonight; goalkeeper Ryan Schofield, defender Herbert Bockhorn and midfielder Lewis O’Brien.

Terence Kongolo starts at left back, making his 50th appearance for the Club in all competitions.

Christopher Schindler skippers the side tonight, with Florent Hadergjonaj completing the four-man defence.

Aaron Mooy, Juninho Bacuna and Jonathan Hogg form the central midfield triumvirate, with Adama Diakhaby and Alex Pritchard flanking striker Karlan Grant.

Elias Kachunga, Isaac Mbenza, Collin Quaner and Jon Gorenc Stanković complete the seven man bench.
