Huddersfield Town Head Coach Jan Siewert’s full focus is on trying to beat Fulham at the John Smith’s Stadium tomorrow.

The Terriers come into the game looking for their first win of the season and Town’s Head Coach is determined to get three points on the board.

“We just want to win,” said Jan. “We will try everything to win.”

“We have to finish with it (the hangover from the Premier League) by winning. There’s no point talking about it because it’s important to win, to kill the hangover we have to win. That’s why we will try everything to beat Fulham.

“We have to help them in every case that we can, so they are free on the pitch and they can perform in the way they can.

“I took some positives out of the first two league games, we needed eight more minutes to win against QPR.

“Of course, in that game not everything was fine, I won’t defend any result, but I just want to win against Fulham.”

Scott Parker’s Fulham got their first win of the season last weekend against Blackburn Rovers, but Town’s Head Coach is purely focused on the performance of his players.

“They’re a decent team but we shouldn’t talk about them because it’s about us to get points.

“The way we perform will bring us into a position to win a game. It would be great to win this game so everyone in the club knows what’s going on.”

When speaking to the press, Siewert detailed the latest team news, whilst providing an update on his latest two signings.

“Rajiv van La Parra and Steve Mounié are close. When both came on, they had an impact. They aren’t far from what I want, it’s important they keep on going.

“Steve came back later but he’s working hard. Rajiv didn’t play a lot at Middlesborough, so he didn’t get much playing time, but he tries to give everything and that’s fine for me.

“Trevoh Campbell is improving and feels confident in his body. He’s settled in and will definitely be in our squad tomorrow.

“Fraizer Campbell is training with the team and doing condition work. I hope to bring him to the squad as soon as possible. He could be an impact player before he’s ready to play 90 minutes.

“Nobody has big problems, so I have the hard task to select out of all our players.”
